Apparently, I have caught the Editing Bug. This one was processed like whoa. Let's hope I snap out of it soon.
These are the Supertrees at the Gardens by the Bay. They range from 25m (82ft) to 50m (164ft) high, and the walkway you see is 22m (72ft) above the ground. I intend to walk it the next time I visit. I hear that it sways when it's windy! XD
You can just about make out one of the massive cooled conservatory domes in the background at the bottom right corner.
Very futuristic - love all the lines, angles and curves! This place looks so amazing! Just out of curiosity, how much does it cost to spend a day there?
@aleksandra To help plan for your trip, here's the official site for Gardens by the Bay: http://www.gardensbythebay.com.sg/en/home.html You might want to know that, if you visit between November and January, you need to be prepared for many rainy days. But the downtown shopping area gets lit up for the (Christmas and New Year) holidays and looks pretty. Chinese New Year is on Feb 10 and 11 next year, and many retail outlets close on these days. Some sites recommend visiting Singapore from June to August because the weather will be drier (and so it's easier for you to sightsee) but, yeah, we're still super sunny and hot! One of the things they don't tell you about Singapore is, we're hot on the outside and cold on the inside. The cold being in the air-conditioned buildings. You might still want to pack a light cardigan if you're the type to get cold easily. (I get cold on the air-conditioned buses. And then I sweat when I get off. Crazy. XD )
@myautofocuslife Thank you for the information and link Livia! We'll be there for 3 days at the end of July so in prime conditions by the looks of it! I get cold easily too, so will definitely have cardi's with me :) Singapore will be our chance to relax after spending a month in Europe, so we all can't wait!
@aleksandra A month in Europe? Sounds great to me! Are you considering staying at the Marina Bay Sands? Many visitors to Singapore choose to stay there, purely for the experience of the infinity pool on the 57th floor! I haven't been there, but I've seen amazing photos and videos. 8)
Wow! This is magnificent, I also viewed the lighted shots that you mentioned, ....actually they look like shot from another world, and not of this planet....just amazing , I took the liberty of e mailing to some of my non - 365 project friends....thank you for sharing these wonderful photos, a definite fav
A great, big, high, tree-supported and somewhat surreal "THANK YOU!" to everyone! It wasn't easy composing this shot and I wasn't sure if it worked. Thank you so much for your encouraging words. I will keep going. I must finish! 81 more shots!
Again, thank you so much for your support. I am grateful.
I think these are so stunning! I just saw them in a Smithsonian magazine about two weeks ago. I can only image how they look in person and you get that honor. I hope to see more of these in the future! Great shot :-)

@sparkleplenty1 The gardens are free. Admission to any one of the two massive cooled conservatories costs 12 Singapore dollars per adult. Pay only S$20 to enter both conservatories. The skywalk costs S$5. Those are the rates for local residents. Tourist pay a little more. Full fare structure is here: http://www.gardensbythebay.com.sg/content/gbb/en/plan-your-visit/visitor-information.html
