The weather was cold outside but I walked to the river located at the end of our street which is part of the Milwaukee River. As I was walking I spotted this bear but I wasn't afraid since "The Bears" are pretty harmless in Wisconsin at this time.
I am not a winter fan so when it is too cold I will have plenty of indoor shots you may see some appearances of other bears during January or February (you have been warned).
@httpgeffed@marlboromaam@judithdeacon@simon0128@mejbronant@djepie@seilaeloise@sabanford@windmill@hjbenson@kimmistephens Thank you very much for the compliments. Because of the car accident I'm pretty stranded here & my options are limited - so I just walked to the end of the street by the river. This bear came home with me but because my husband is such a Packer's fan I better keep it hidden (jk). I wondered if anyone would pick up on that. I took shots but my hands were frozen so I made a few adjustments with settings but didn't keep trying different shots since I was an ice cube. I do have a collection of bears so I think I will use them from time to time in the coming months.
@samdan thank you, you don't want to turn your back on him lol @digitalrn lol looks can be deceiving @shanne thank you so much I really appreciate it, @adobewaters that comment made my day! @peterdegraaff thank you so much @lacedxxoo lol thank you @swilde thank you so much - :) @jannkc@kerristephens@grammyn@clarissajohal thank you all so very much! we need a little humor in our life @myautofocuslife thank you so much - I try to have a little humor. I would prefer to see snow in everyone else's shot, I would love to see green grass & palm trees this time of year @ladybug71012@marilyn@herussell@vclutter@kiwichick thank you so much. I thought the scenery is good but a little boring this time of year. Hope I've seen some of your pictures you are creative.
eeeek! i thought i've commented on this already :-( in any case, i like the playfulness this photo portrays. i like the fresh snow dusting on the trees and on the reeds. it also conveys how cold it is. great shot, kathy.
