beautiful magnolia

I am so excited to see our magnolia bush getting ready to bloom! I love seeing the gorgeous flowers. My concern is we have had unseasonably beautiful temperatures and they are predicting lower temperatures within the next few days. I just don't want to see a frost come in and kill the beautiful blooms before they are in their prime.

whoa! they look like this close up?!? my shots yesterday showed a bit of hairs but i didn't realize they're like this. i'm a bit scared now. where i go to shoot mine, the branches are at least three feet above me. wow! great shot, kathy.
