Did a wedding on a rainy day. Couldn't go to the preferred park for the outside shots but after the ceremony and family photos I noticed an area that the bride could go without trucking through wet grass.
I was actually filling in. I was asked two days before the wedding if I could photograph it. The original photographer backed out. I had never met the couple ahead of time. When I first arrived I saw this gentleman looking like he was expecting me. I asked if he was the groom's father - OPPS, wrong question! LOL but he just answered no I'm the groom. The day went well as if that never happened.
