This old piece of dried wood stood out on my hike. The fungi on it looked just as old and dry..they appeared to be carved. There even seems to be an artist's signature! Do you see it? And no.. I didn't eat any mushrooms. ;)
I am constantly amazed at the plethora of different fungi. I see a wood carvers signature that sort of looks like a sausage dog with its head raised right up....
