It was a foggy morning and was taken from the birdwatching tower. I tend to post closeups and macros and my landscapes get filed away.
This reminds me of the Mackinack Bridge in UP Michigan. Love your shot. I just posted mine last week or very recently anyway. It had such a similar feel.
such quiet ... and peace ... especially like outline of the bridge ... visible but doesnt overwhelm .. can understand why you like this .. surprised you didn't post it earlier though!!
I'm glad you posted it . It's different from most of your pictures -- it's nice to see another sure of you. I like the atmosphere of the scene, clear in the foreground and turning misty in the distance which softens the bridge and keeps it from dominating the picture.
This is a nice shot. I love your description, "down the shore." although I don't live there now, I grew up in PA and we went "down the shore." Now, coming from NC, we "go to the beach." HA HA
