Foxgloves in Black and White

I have been loving all the recent B&W flower shots from some of my friends on 365 lately and thought these pale yellow foxgloves looked more interesting converted.

I normally think its a waste of the beautiful colours converting them into b&w but wow this really works, the composition is fab! :-)

Nice composition and shapes to this shot and effective in B&W. I sometimes prefer B&W to colour flower shots - as colourful as they might be - the B&W just adds another dimension to the shot.
