Just randomly wandering on a beach is great. I love the view, the sound of the sea, the feel of the crunching stones and sand under my feet. On a wet grey day it is still lovely, but the photography is inhibited by the overcast. Today I decided to see what I could find in the pools. Not much - the tide was almost fully in. Taken on Cawsand Beach, Cornwall, UK.
While the tiny ripples from the tide topped my shoe edge I pondered a tiny drama on the rock above the water. These two limpets, so close they were touching, were nestled into the rock back. While the world all around them was frenetic and active these two were taking quiet comfort in each others company. Perhaps there is a moral there. Am I seeing too deeply into an accidental liaison? I wonder...
