Rame Head, Cornwall

The Cornish coastline is perhaps one of the most photographed coasts in the world. Yet as well as I know Cornwall there is always a fresh view, a new angle or some special conditions to capture. I know this stretch of these cliffs very well. So I was almost in danger of missing this shot. I had to back up the road to take a second look. Suddenly the light was just right. I love this place.
So lucky to live in Cornwall - can't ever tire of seeing these views.

Sadly I don't live in Cornwall. This is a place I visit frequently. It is a place of refuge and renewal, rest and retreat for me and my family. That is why I try to 'look' hard when I am here. The memory serves to remind me what life is about when I am not here.
