Yellowy Light Under A Thunder Storm by netkonnexion

Yellowy Light Under A Thunder Storm

When a storm is driven by the Sou' Westerly and evening creeps 'ere long over the land, stand forth for the glance of yellow light. For, 'tis told, in many a century past, to watch for the watery yellow light under a thunder storm. Therein lies the danger of an evening lost in public revelry and stupor - later to face the dreaded waving pie-pin borne by an incandescent wife!
Great composition

Nice one! Every time I look at it it tricks me into thinking that the image of the water is in motion, if that makes sense.
Nearly said 'if you get my drift' ! Seriously, it's a very nicely done, atmospheric shot.

Nice capture. Is the translation that it's too bad of weather to go to work so you go to the pub and then have to go home and face your wife?

I find that yellow pre-storm light very eerie and you have captured that sense very well here. Love the quotation too!
