The Thames Festival runs along over a mile of river bank walks. One part passes the great South Bank arts and concert hall complex. Further along is the Tate Modern - the modern version of the Tate Gallery. Further along still is this little gem. The Globe Theatre is a replica of the theatre where Shakespear put on many of his plays. Built in modern times the building is as exact a replica as safety regs will allow. Considering the original burnt down that safety thing is pretty important!
The festival crowds walk past the back of the theatre. Here we see two members of staff looking pretty bemused about the whole thing! LOL. Thats Londoners for you!
