Identify This No. 112

I won't rain on your parade with this one. It is too easy! What is it?

More about "Identify This"... http://365project.org/netkonnexion/number03/2011-05-11

Previously, in ID This No. 110...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Easy! ID This No. 110 was a cross-cut panel saw. It was a bit special because, it was another of my Grandfathers tools. The handle was beautifully shaped and the product was embossed with a brass seal dedicating it as "Warrented Superior". I love this saw, but I admit it could do with a clean up and the blade needs to be oiled to preserve it.
Winners were again too numerous to mention. But I hope you all enjoyed getting this one. Well done.
Honorable mentions...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tanya - A saw!!! :-D Net says:-->> Correct. You be the First. Well done! Yeeeeahaw!

argie - cool ... nice abstract ... =) Net says:-->> Why thanks. A special favorite of mine this saw.

Trina Holub - A really old saw. :-) Net says:-->> It is old. I am not sure how old though. Probably well before WWII. My Grandad looked after his tools.

Cherrill - An old hand saw.....my dad used to have these...this hasn't been used in a while! Net says:-->> True, true. I must get cutting... LOL.

Beverly Moolman - iI agree! Nice shot! Net says:-->> Thanks. I appreciate all nice comments. Preen, preen. [Hee hee.].

Diana Horn - Old saw with ornate wooden handle. My father had one of these. Net says:-->> Awww! We are practically members of the same family then. LOL...

Leslie Manna - Hi Damon, and thanks for the mention. Really like this one; especially all of the wonderful wood grain. and the way the brass plug is sticking out. Well of course it's a hand saw, but what kind?? Hmmmmm, it's hard to be sure from that angle, but the teeth suggest a mitre saw, and "Warrented Superior", no less. The rusty teeth and cobwebs suggest once again, that she hasn't seen recent use. Thanks Damon, fun is...... Happy weekend , Les Net says:-->> Glad you like it here. Feel free to join in when ever you are around these parts. Grin.

Howard N Mr. Net is digging deep in the tool box. This saw, I would bet, is considerably older than the caulking/glue gun! The beautiful handle (though it looks broken at the bottom) and etch also date the tool. They don't build 'em like that any more! Dust it off and oil up the blade and it's almost new! Net says:-->> Yup! An old favorite of mine this one.

Paula Brumbe - OOOHHHHH I know this for sure, if you want to see through wood better, you need to use this saw. So ultimately it is a tool to make seesaws. Net says:-->> "I see said the blind man as he picked up the hammer and saw. I think I will make a see saw! LOL. Great idea Paula. A Doohicky award!

june milner - I guess asaw but can't go any further. It's beautiful. My Dad in law was a master joiner and had beautiful old tools. Sadly the gene completely skipped my husband!! Net says:-->> Perhaps its a good thing the gene skipped your husband. He would have looked pretty silly with a sawblade for a hand! LOL. Nice one. Thanks for commenting.

Leslie Manna - @brumbe Actually Paula, I like your description much better - "seesaw" - you nut! Net says:-->> Now, now you two! I don't want anyone to 'bolt'! [Oooh! Sorry about that terrible joke].

Kathy A - Of course it's a saw handle but when I first looked at it all I could see was an ear! Net says:-->> I like that. I can imagine an ever developing punny conversation now...
"'ear' you! Eye Saw you. I nose it was you. You got some cheek! Come hair! [LOL... getting ridiculous now]. a "Doohicky Award!" Yahhhhaaaahhhey!!!!

Sue Wilde ace
A thing which will make you very sore if you cut yourself with it. Or that will saw wood. Net says:-->> Ohh! Thats gotta hurt!

Paula Cook-Farkas - Ooooh! I've seen this before. I know I've seen it...I bet if I SAW it again I'd know! ;) Net says:-->> OK, top marks on the groanability index!!!

Sara's Dad - I saw something like it one time but can't remember where I saw it. Net says:-->> Awww! The puns are getting just too bad now! I am losing the will to live... LOL.

Excellent fun on this one. Thanks for the entertainment and for dropping by.

Well I was going to say radar detector (though I'm not really sure what they even look like) but I'm fairly certain that Lisabell @lisjam1 has already called this properly as the windshield cleaner sprayer.

From the two holes on this object a solution of alcohol and liquid soap sprays on the windshield of your automobile or truck and your wipers clear it away giving you a much brighter outlook on all that follows. (if you substitute water for the soloution, in some climates you may find your device frozen... yadda, yadda, yadda)

@aj1268 I must agree that this was a part of Wall-E, when he had too much dirt on his eyes, he could just spray blue fluid out onto the glass and wipe until clean. I think he also used this for tears when the roach did not make it. So a thingie that the windshield washer fluid comes flying out of.

Hi Damon, I envy you your Grandfather's tools -- the oldies are really something special. There's a high degree of craftsmenship in antique tools which I really appreciate. Hope you are having a great week, Les
