Jackdaws by newbank

Jackdaws

During the spring and summer Jackdaws live in this tree at the bottom of our garden. Last night I sat and watched them all flying about. It wasn't the prettiest sky last night, grey and cloudy.
I like this one too, the overexposure makes the silhouettes of the branches and birds come out!

Love this, it has quite a sinister, expectant feel to it

Brilliant! It's a bit spooky - got a lot of emotion about it :)

It is a great shot. A great example of how to work with the light available. Very stark, very good!

I love how the black and white in this makes the birds really stand out. Great choice!

I have a photo almost exactly like that, only with crows! So, I have to compliment it! I do like the start relief.

A lovely shot - in monochrome?

@busylady No I pushed up the exposure in ps to get it looking like this not actually turned into b and w.
