A spot of gardening. by newbank

A spot of gardening.

My eldest watering some plants in the kitchen garden of a historic house we visited yesterday.
I really like your B&W processing, fascinating

Your processing very effectively directs us to the main subject and his activity, but it hurts my eyes! However I really like the water.

Good composition. And I agree, the action of pouring the water is great

Aww, such a precious shot! Love the monochrome of this shot and how you can see the droplets coming from the watering can! Beautiful :)

Such a cool style you started recently.

@d_lopes thanks. Mixture of trying to find my own style, pushing the limits on my processing to see what I like and not having a clue and just playing!

Debi I like the series of images of which this is one, using high key lighting in your B&W processing to give them a dreamy look. This image appeals to me in other ways too - well composed, interesting subject and a story. fav.
