@lynnilou they are called auriculars. They are alpine plants. They get displayed in auricular theatres like this. They come in so many different colours. At the bottom of our garden there is a nursery that grows them commercially. They are not normally open to the public but occasionally have open days, when we went for a look we were overwhelmed by the variety.
