Autumn coming....though today it feels very autumnal with the rain....thought was only us Brits who complained about the rain but lots of Australian friends on here seem to so too! Thanks for best wishes for littlest, he's slowly on the mend.
love this photo and contrasting colours. I have done a little bit of travelling and I can say without hestitation that the number one topic anywhere in the world is the weather lol
@newbank I do remember them :) I can't remember what they were called but I do remember them....over here we used to buy them in little "buckets" about the size of a take away coffee cup. @gigiflower That's GOD TWAT BOLLOCKS to you ;))
Ah this photo takes me back to when I was in the gutter (not literally). I posted an image on 17th April this year, which involved tarmacadam. As with this photograph, its amazing all the colours, especially the blues that are in the tarmac
@gigiflower sorry I have to ask....what on earth are you doing reading in Australia the Daily Mail website?? Sorry to offend any Daily Mail readers.... Yep saw that last night.
@gigiflower Just read an article from an aussie gp myth busting kids sleeping patterns as babies....my two year is going to be dysfunctional as an adult as I have put him to bed in an artificially darkened room and kept the house quiet by feeding my 365 addiction. Must put him to bed in a room with bright lights, music blaring and dance around him like a loony.... right off to make a sandwich and read some more loony stories. We are still friends despite my less than positive reaction to the daily mail online????
@newbank Oh yes of course!!! I feel like a sandwich too.........not sure why I'm hungry when it is time to go to bed! Shall I put on bright lights, loud music and get my husband to dance around me like a loony?
@gigiflower But I'm trautamised. I have been looking online and it appears Brooklyn Beckham is like 15!!!!!! But last time I read any celeb gossip he was just being born.....No wait last time was when Victoria was posh spice and I watched her on stage....I am OLD OLD OLD OLD OLF OLD OLD HELPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SAMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@yrhenwr Clearly not read the article on line then. Or you were brought up wrong. Quiet bad....Noise good.... Hmm....yes well. In the this house we have quiet and sleep. Go nap one and all.
@newbank I saw that Brooklyn has a girlfriend! I learnt that tonight from Daily Mail. See, I learn so much from that website!!! HAHAHAHAH oh and BTW, I LOVE the Spice Girls. Sporty was my favourite :)
@gigiflower I'm going to have the songs in my head all afternoon now. Yep we read the same article. Perhaps I need a new addiction as well as 365 to feed you information. But lets not tell Mr S then we'll seem all knowledgable and interesting....
@gigiflower Shocked that stored in the depths of my brain is streams and streams of spice girls lyrics....couldn't tell you half of what I was supposed to learn at school then but from nowhere I have lyrics and possible dance moves.....
@newbank Oh dear. Now you are admitting stuff that should stay a dark secret.............however I also spent many a night dancing in night clubs to the sounds of a Spice Girl mix. GIRL power!
@gigiflower I have THE BIGGEST smile on my face listening to them now....no longer feel old. Feel 14 again. Thank you. You are permitted to sleep and I take back what I said about the Daily Mail.
Cleverly composed -- a leaf falling but not yet turning. Sign of autumn too soon, perhaps? Thank your 5-year-old for me -- so glad he liked my meeting buildings!!
@gigiflower@newbank I wasn't in bed...I was lying on the couch half asleep watching Kim decorating a rather obscenely large cake. As for unbalanced views...my mother is Scottish and my father is Irish, so that should explain everything that hadn't been explained to date!
@newbank been to bed and got up again to walk the dogs...not much sleep but I'll live. Wine time tonight - a gathering for a shared birthday...you should come over!
@newbank it's me and the stranger. And she very strange. Also, thanks awfully, but mines not today - next week for me but the stranger is going away so we decided to have the shin dig tonight.
OMG, this thread cracks me up, even if I am geriatric these days. Aussies and Kiwis all talk, grizzle, gripe, whinge etc about the weather, maybe due to our British heritage??
@newbank Definitely not Ruth, but it's still funny. And I forgot to say I like your shot very much, you've captured the feel of early autumn very well.
@golftragic no worries, this thread quickly lost any relevance to the photo!! Have to say I'm spending more time randomly chatting than serious photography discussion!
@gigiflower That's GOD TWAT BOLLOCKS to you ;))

@gigiflower
Will you two be quiet? I'm trying to take a nap!
(it's raining here!)
