Oh help, Oh no it's a Gruffalo.....

I'm sat here trying to think of what to write to go with this image but littlest favourite story is all I have in my head. It bears no relation to the shot at all.
Haha, have you been reading too many children's books! I love the Gruffalo.

@888rachel We don't own the gruffalo though we do some of her others, had it from the library so it has been read ALOT. We do have on cd so in the car littlest asks for it. I think if pushed I could probably recite the whole thing. Which in the big scheme of things is not that useful.

Sam
Never heard of the Gruffalo!

@gigiflower http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeGdU5Yr7uw not sure if it will work for you...
October 9th, 2014
No its not a Gruffalo but is intriguing! Love the shapes and patterns and works very well in b&w.
October 9th, 2014
@dibzgreasley Can you tell what it is?
October 9th, 2014
@newbank Ok, it took me a while - been out of the UK for too long! Is is a top view of a radiator?
October 9th, 2014
@dibzgreasley you got it.
October 9th, 2014
Nice lines, patterns.
October 9th, 2014
Nice pattern shot.
October 9th, 2014
I am new to Gruffalo....I thought from the picture on the front of the book it was a frightening story but it's lovely...Max loves Gruffalo. Your radiater looks lovely & clean!
October 9th, 2014
@happypat it isn't that clean.....that's processing for you!
October 9th, 2014
I like the patterns and lines a lot.
October 9th, 2014
Neat capture but you could have VENTED your feelings or told us this is your greatest FAN.
October 9th, 2014
@gigiflower @newbank How can you not have heard of the Gruffalo? The Gruffalo is awesome...which is why he looks like me...
October 9th, 2014
I like this very abstracty.
October 9th, 2014
Nice abstract
October 9th, 2014
@ladymagpie you are so right.....
October 9th, 2014
@gigiflower You don't know what you're missing!

@graemestevens @newbank @ceilidh It be some strange UK and kids thing!!!!!
October 10th, 2014
Sam
@newbank @ceilidh @graemestevens And he is MUCH BETTER looking than Mr S! I bet Gruffalo doesn't wear corsets or do nudity shots!
October 10th, 2014
@gigiflower @newbank @ceilidh Oh he's infinitely better looking than I, however my buttocks are much tighter. I can crack walnuts between mine.
October 10th, 2014
Sam
@graemestevens @ceilidh @newbank How do you know that Gruffalo can't do that as well?
October 10th, 2014
@graemestevens @ceilidh @newbank When my daughter was young and impressionable I spent many nights with the Gruffalo. Probably one of her favourite books back then, along with We're all going on a bear hunt, Albert le Blanc and Slinky Malinki. They were all so well read that I call still do this: Slinky Malinki was blacker than black, a stalking and lurking adventurous cat. He had bright yellow eyes and a warbling wail, and a kink at the end of his very long tail.

@graemestevens @ceilidh @newbank How cute!!! A much better conversation than talking about your buttocks!
October 10th, 2014
@gigiflower @ceilidh @newbank She still reads a lot now, and in my humble and unasked for opinion you can never have too many books. If nothing else hard covered ones are great for throwing at people who compare innocent parties of conversations to the Gruffalo. If I were you I'd duck in 3...2...1... ;)

@gigiflower @ceilidh @newbank You'll be fine. It was only my sales training manual. The most pointless document on the face of the planet.
October 10th, 2014
Sam
@graemestevens HAHAHA I live and die by that crap ;)
October 10th, 2014
Really nice B&W, fun abstract and and fun commentary. :)
October 10th, 2014
great abstract x
October 10th, 2014
@gigiflower You've summed it up nicely there. I've been selling for 24 years now and they still ram it down my throat.
October 10th, 2014
Sam
@graemestevens LOL you and I must be about the same age then.......!
October 10th, 2014
@gigiflower @graemestevens just have to say enjoying this conversation. How old are you both? Am I allowed to ask? I missed being a seventies child by 6 weeks....
October 10th, 2014
Sam
@newbank I am 45, born in 1969!
October 10th, 2014
I like simplicity! Fav
October 10th, 2014
I, too had never heard of a Gruffalo. I had to follow your link to learn about him! He is a rather cool looking character although I might feel differently about him if I was only a tot!
Super abstract capture though, cool lines
October 10th, 2014
Lines!!
October 10th, 2014
@gigiflower Not possible, you don't look a day over 21 whereas I am a sad wrinkly bag of bones making my way through life on a Zimmer frame.
October 10th, 2014
@newbank I'm a whopping great 44, escaped from the womb in 1970
October 10th, 2014
@graemestevens how do you know what she looks like? Never seen any part of her photographed on here.... @gigiflower
October 10th, 2014
@newbank @gigiflower I've got no idea what she looks like. I was using artistic license ;)
October 10th, 2014
Glad to know it bears no relation to the shot, as I thought for a moment I was going crazy! I like the pattern in this shot.
October 11th, 2014
Maybe it's a widget mould? Great fun anyway.
