I'm sat here trying to think of what to write to go with this image but littlest favourite story is all I have in my head. It bears no relation to the shot at all.
@888rachel We don't own the gruffalo though we do some of her others, had it from the library so it has been read ALOT. We do have on cd so in the car littlest asks for it. I think if pushed I could probably recite the whole thing. Which in the big scheme of things is not that useful.
I am new to Gruffalo....I thought from the picture on the front of the book it was a frightening story but it's lovely...Max loves Gruffalo. Your radiater looks lovely & clean!
@graemestevens@ceilidh@newbank When my daughter was young and impressionable I spent many nights with the Gruffalo. Probably one of her favourite books back then, along with We're all going on a bear hunt, Albert le Blanc and Slinky Malinki. They were all so well read that I call still do this: Slinky Malinki was blacker than black, a stalking and lurking adventurous cat. He had bright yellow eyes and a warbling wail, and a kink at the end of his very long tail.
@gigiflower@ceilidh@newbank She still reads a lot now, and in my humble and unasked for opinion you can never have too many books. If nothing else hard covered ones are great for throwing at people who compare innocent parties of conversations to the Gruffalo. If I were you I'd duck in 3...2...1... ;)
@gigiflower@graemestevens just have to say enjoying this conversation. How old are you both? Am I allowed to ask? I missed being a seventies child by 6 weeks....
I, too had never heard of a Gruffalo. I had to follow your link to learn about him! He is a rather cool looking character although I might feel differently about him if I was only a tot!
Super abstract capture though, cool lines
