AWOL for a while by newbank

AWOL for a while

So some of you who follow my project may know I'm struggling with extreme fatigue at the moment again. I've been sporadic on here the last few weeks. Today I've had the results of recent blood tests, my iron levels are v low again, back on medication. But the main thing is I've decided I'm taking a break. Something has to give and for the next weeks its 365. My aim is to start again in the new year. I'm sure I will pop by as I'm conscious some people I have followed the last nearly 8 months may or may not finish there project this month. Perhaps I'll be back in a few days like my "summer break" but I doubt it! For those of you who may be finishing this month it was a pleasure & inspiration to follow you. For the rest of you wishing you a Happy Christmas and see you in the new year. For my mentoring group, I will drop by your projects sometime before the new year. You're all wonderful and I cant wait to have some energy back for my camera.
Take care of yourself Ms Newbank. I know I'll still be here. Get your energy back, and get back to us when you can. Pop in and say hi when you get back.

Going to miss you round these parts but health and family come first. Wishing you and your adorable boys a lovely, happy Christmas. Thank you for your support and comments with my project x

Oh so sad you are feeling poorly again!! Yes take that rest from 365 so that you can concentrate on your lovely family - you will get your strength back from them I am sure. Have a wonderful Christmas and wishing you a very happy and healthy new year. I will still be around and I am sure our mentoring group will still be plodding along - we are all so busy at the moment but the new Year will start us off afresh I am sure!! Missing you already!! Take care Ruth - Big hug xx

Do whatever you must and take care of yourself, Ruth. I hope you enjoy Christmas and that you will soon be back refreshed and ready to continue to inspire with your wonderful photographs
December 5th, 2014
You need to look after your health first and foremost. Of course you will be missed but we can look forward to seeing you when you are ready to come back! Take care and get better soon :-)

So sorry to hear that you aren't feeling top of the world. Take good care of yourself. Even though I'm one of those you mention who is due to finish, I cannot imagine not being here next year, so we can catch up then. Have a wonderful Festive season and take lots of care. Hugs from me, Ruth.

Is this a ducks way of playing hide-n-seek. Will miss you for a bit but your health must come first. Take it easy and have a good rest, look forward to seeing you again in the future.

Brilliant!

Definitely the right thing to do Ruth, Christmas is hard enough for mums anyway without the pressure of outside stuff. Do hope you get chance to put your feet up & perhaps recharge your batteries. It's rotten to feel exhausted all the time & you need to concentrate on yourself & your lovely family. Have a fabulous Christmas & all you wish for be granted . I will still be here when you get back so will look forward to your photos again. Big hugs from me too....a hug is the best thing isn't it?

Take care of yourself - You're far more important than keeping up with 365. I'll still be here when you get back, unless something quite dramatic and unforeseen happens so I will "see" you on your return. Have a Christmas (I just can't bring myself to say 'merry') and above all, look after yourself.

Nice shot. Your decision to hit the pause button is full of wisdom and no doubt experience. You have given me courage to pull the plug a little bit. I will post the greeting from header on our Christmas letter today. You may still have enough energy to browse some pictures.

Ruth, I'll miss your photos but am glad to read that you are taking care of yourself as that's the most important. Especially with all the additional complications of the holiday season. I hope you're back to your regular self soon. And btw, your photo for your narrative is just perfect!

Oh Ms Newbank......I'm finally trying to catch up on 6 or so days of not commenting and I search frantically for your photos, and then to read that you will be leaving us for a little while! I absolutely understand however am quite sad as I will miss our back and forth chitter chatter. I have 3 weeks to go until I finish my project - and right now I think I will be back, just in a very different format. As to what format that will be, I am still undecided HAHAHAH! So let's make sure we keep in contact regardless - I do hope I hear from you before the end of the year........in the meantime, take good care of yourself and beautiful family and a BIG Santa Claus virtual hug for you :)xx

@ceilidh you did thank you. We had parents evening last week. His teacher loves literature & languague. We were not surprised that his reading is v good but it was wonderful to hear how good his writing is. His handwriting is dreadful, he is getting extra support to help that, but the quality of what he writes is very good. She looked so excited when she said he was the first in the class to use a split diagraph correctly in his written work. I think he has found a kindred spirit in his teacher with regards to literature + languague!
December 8th, 2014
@gigiflower glad to hear you're not leaving!!! I'm hoping the iron pills perk me up quickly! Sounds like you have a crazy travel schedule. You'll be glad to be home.
December 8th, 2014
Fantastic timing. Take care of yourself. I look forward to when you can come back with photos.
December 10th, 2014
Beautiful colours Ruth. I wish you all the best, 365 is always here... as you noted some people will finish, but many will stay. Take care of yourself and I sincerely hope you feel better very soon.
