Finally got into the main city near us today and had a go at some street photography. A bit late for my mentoring groups month on it which was in November!! I feel I must also apologise to Andy@candidzen for coping his style of bordering his street shots with a black border. I like the effect it has on his street images. Sorry! I'm not sure on the vingrette on here but cant now remove it and too tired to do it again so its staying put for today.
I love the lighting and the composition works really well with the railing leading up to the guy. I'm glad you agree that the black border is the way to go and it looks great here! fav
Love this shot, it really tells a story. Makes you wonder why he stopped. Maybe he got a bit puffed out climbing up the hill and had to stop for a rest.
, a private moment, stolen by the sneaky photographer, shared to the viewer. :D love it, its really cool, you have an eye for this sort of stuff, who is your favorite documentary photographer?
@amyleewinfield thanks. I don't know to be honest! I stumble across things I like in magazines but don't know much about many professional photographers. Anyone you'd suggest?
@newbank If you are really enjoying Documentary you need to check out magnum photos, this is kind of a hub for the worlds best, youl find a great collection of guys here. For a gander maybe Lee Friedlander and Trent Park, very different styles but wow!!
