It's more than a tree, Ruth... it's a story... for me it's a sad scene and the flat light emphasises this feeling. See how few trees there are in that environment. But I'm in a sad mood (love/hate relationship with the lack of light at this time of year!) It's also a fine composition and I love it! Fav!
