C is for these tape things that for the life of me I cant remember how to spell....

I'm full of apologies & excuses for my lack of presence here..... winter weather, small people that don't nap anymore, illnesses..... please forgive me!
You are definitely forgiven! Great shot of a cassette. Remember how we would need a pencil to wind the tape on.

Cassette, I'm feeling old now. Same here and because of those reasons, photo motivation low. Hopefully black and white with a flash of red February can pull me out of my slump.

Very well focussed Ruth. No apologies necessary!

February 3rd, 2015
Nice one. Last week I chucked my old collections of cassettes into the skip as part of our loft clearance. I'm feeling sad now!
February 3rd, 2015

At least your boys will know what they are even though they seem to be rather redundant these days.
I heard a girl of about 9 ask her Mum "What's that" a few days ago as she pointed at a telephone kiosk in Nelson Bay.

Sam
You are forgiven :)

Forgiven! Could the word be Cassette? (Of course you are too young ever to have used one!) I like it - without your title it might have been a mystery for me, even though I have just got my old cassette deck working again! (I have got some old Open University Music course cassettes that I want to try out, having failed to get very far with the course way back.) I must try something like this myself sometime. See, you continue to inspire! As for the small people, enjoy them while you give them the toolkit to eventually make their own way.

Forever needed a pencil to wind them forward or back....
Struggling myself to be present as well.

Great dof of this technological dinosaur. No apologies needed; I think you do extremely well, considering all the demands on your time.
