This time last year I decided on the complete spur of the moment to start a 365 project. I completed a short introductory course and wanted something to keep taking photographs. Well little did I know what a warm, welcoming and caring community I would find. It's been a wonderful year full of inspiration from all of you. Encouragement photographically and otherwise in life. I've been more sporadic with my posting's of late, but I'm not ready to leave here yet. I have special thanks to my mentoring group @taffy@pamknowler@888rachel@golftragic working with them has been great. Special thanks also to @gigiflower who in my early months was nearly always about for a transatlantic chat about all things random, what more could a girl need when home alone with her lunch whilst her toddler napped a few hours away. Thank you Sam you for being dinner time company for so many months. The rest of you? Be assured it's all of you that kept me here for a year and the reason I'm not yet going. Thank you all. Now I've re-read it I suspect it would read better saying "have been" rather "be" but I don't know how to re-edit it.....so much still to learn!!
YAY!!!!!!!!!!! And congrats for making Year 1. SO happy you are continuing to year 2. I have loved chatting to you and watching your 2 little ones grow up - they look so different from 6 months ago! I'm blushing because of your special mention...........you are just too kind :)
@gigiflower well there was many a week the kitchen floor never got mopped, we ate frozen food for tea, the bathroom didn't get cleaned....because I was discussing odd things with you and others but it was always you at the centre of it!
Hip, Hip Hooray! You deserve more praise than some, in view of the obstacles you face. But I hope the joy of photography and the contact with friends makes a difference to your days. I look forward to your future posts.
Congratulations Ruth on completing your 365!! Looking back on your project I can see how far you have come - well done!! Your food shots this week have all been fabulous!! Wow, you've finished your year! Well done. Why did I think you'd be on longer than that? Perhaps because your photos were so well done. It's been wonderful being in the group with you, and I'm so pleased that you are continuing. Wouldn't it be great to meet up one day...

Wow, Ruth -- the year is complete!! Congratulations to you and kudos for all the amazing photography you've created this year. I'm so glad you are continuing!! I love having our little group within the big group. And you've become such a key leader in it! I just changed lenses to macro so I would be ready for food tonight after class. Fisheye distraction must stop!! Congrats again! And thanks for the shout-out to our team!
A whole year ...well done Ruth, not easy when you are a busy mum! Loved your family photos & hearing all about your boys & I am sure you look back at your photos with great pleasure yourself. A whole year in the life of a little one has many milestones! Lovely you made a special 365 friend in @gigiflower I have seen a few of your online chats ....a real bonus of this site! Congratulations & on to another year!
Congratulations on completing your first year! I know you've had some difficult times but you have stuck with it. I'm glad you are doing another year, as I would miss your pictures, especially those of your beautiful little boys.
What a lovely post. Great that you've completed a whole year. And that you're staying for more! I echo your sentiments about the warm, caring community here.
