Not Turkish Delight but Two Year Old Delight

Now babies I find hard work, they cry, they poo, they need feeding, they do it all over again, half the time you cant figure out what's wrong with them. Now two year olds, the dreaded feared terrible twos are brilliant. Utterly wonderful. They have their moments, who doesn't. But they are so full of wonder and joy and delight and excitement at the world and all that is in it. Only got less than three months left of the wonderful heady two year old ness ever and big boy grown up ness of three happens. Five year olds? Well they ask you complex questions at 7pm when driving home from swimming lessons about how the radio waves get through the antenna and into the car and make music come out of the speakers whilst also explaining why they like sprinkle topped doughnuts and did you buy them pre or post littlest morning swimming session and can you buy one next week please.
Sam
Such a beautiful smile! And did you say yes to buying sprinkle topped doughnuts next week?

@gigiflower Not a clue. The conversation moved on to him wanting to compete in the Olympics when he was older in swimming but not in tennis.... By conversation I mean monologue.

@newbank If he wants weekly doughnuts he won't be able to compete in the Olympics!! No doughnuts allowed on that diet ;)

@gigiflower He is as skinny as a rake I don't think a weekly doughnut will do much harm. Half the words that come out of his mouth are food related, when, how much, when can I have more, can I have, is there more.....

Am sat here now with the 'thug' that is my 17 yr old and wondering whether he was ever as 'cute' as your bundle of scrumptiousness!

A delightful capture with a touch of innocent mischief in that captivating smile. I can tell from what you say under the picture that you love being a mum. Your children are lucky. Fav btw.

So very cute, I love how he is smiling with his eyes. Then your boys become teenagers, and have expressive grunts!

Just you wait, I've got a 49, 47 and 45 year old - at that age you have to remind them they haven't been to annoy you lately. Lovely capture but could you straighten his hat up please.
