It takes time to get back in the rhythm ....I always say I don't think I will bother carrying on when I come back from a holiday! It's only the knowledge that my family in NZ read my posts every day that keep me going! Don't push yourself........you don't have to post or comment everyday! I can see those little toes just beginning to curl up!b what is your book called? I am reading Girl on a Train at the moment. Am quite enjoying it but haven't been tempted to,read it during the day.....that is the real tester for me if a book is good.

@happypat just read this post missed it somehow, was reading custard tarts & broken hearts. The end of an easy holiday read based on the true stories of the ladies that worked in custard factories in the east end during ww1. Now that's finished returning to the lie by Helen dunmore. Read any of her work before? Perhaps already asked as this is a book on the go for a while from library. I know a good book when I let littlest watch extra telly in the day just so I can read some extra pages during the day! Bit off a wonky idea though giving him telly so I can read rather than reading with him.....

@newbank oh I know what you mean....my judgment of a good book is if I do my best to make time to read it in the daytime! I think I looked up Helen Dunmore before....I will get a sample of her book on my kindle. A light read is essential on holiday...dip in dip out! I am sure your boys get plenty of treats & attention so no need to worry about a bit extra me time!
