Hmm.....yes I know I said I was gone.....but I'm missing these parts and since I said I was going I've not picked up my camera. To the extent that I didn't capture first day back to school photos which I'm now sad I missed. So..... I'm back of sorts. I can make no promises to be a wonderful follower or post regular but I just can't completely let go. It appears 365 is like chocolate. I crave it after a while desperately....
Hello. Nice to you see you popping in again. Excellent shot by the way...great framing ;)

@graemestevens Ta! These parts are as addictive as cadburys dairy milk! If you get my drift...

@newbank Oh yes, I'm well aware of chocolate...I thought about leaving a couple of weeks ago actually, very nearly did...and yet here I am...

@graemestevens why leave?

@newbank I was going through a completely uninspired patch - a couple of weeks worth - and thought "well, that's it then"...didn't pick up the camera for that time, just posted "from the archives"...not a lot of time lately either as chaos reigns supreme here...you know, all the usual stuff

@graemestevens I do.... I do....

A nice shot. Love the old and weathered building contrasted by the sweet face in the window!

Wonderful framing, glad to see you!

Oh I know what you mean, it's like The pull of the tides and the moon. It almost happens in spite of us. I love your shots, it so lovely to see the boys growing and thriving

What a lovely shot and so good to see you back. I know what you mean about 365 being addictive. I have even been taking some one handed shots since I fractured my wrist last month. One handed photos and some archives shots are seeing me through until the end of September when hopefully I will be free of the splint.

Oh this is lovely Ruth! I am so pleased to see shots of your boys again! I am going through the doldrums at the moment so hoping our little group challenge will get me going again! Fav for this fab shot!

I know what you mean........it is addictive! The best thing is to just come on when you feel like it! This is a very atmospheric scene of the old house & then this lovely smile shining through!

Beautiful framing, textures, and of course subject, fav! So glad you have decided to come back at least occasionally--I missed your pictures, especially those of your boys.

YAY! Even if you just pop in, it's good to see you! I've tried leaving and haven't been able to as I stop carrying my camera about. Just do what you can. I like this b&w and the use of square frames from the bricks and the panes as a framing device.

Terrific composition

I am VERY happy to see you back!

Such great framing in this shot. I tried leaving too, but found I have no purpose for my photos...and here I still am!

Oh I so agree with you about 365 - I like your analogy with chocolate. This is such a sweet photo, well framed by those windows - a great way to combine one of your favourite things and your boy!

@888rachel @taffy Yes! 365 is a great reason to take photos and also to have a place to share them rather than them lingering on the computer. I know that if I leave, my camera will grow mould again like my last one did!

Ruth, I am so with you, I keep threatening to give 365 up, at the mo I am struggling through with very little commenting as life is so busy. Maybe winter will be a little calmer. Will be good to see you popping in :)
