I found that with my age I was choosing my books by how heavy they were to hold in bed, so though I really miss the feel of the pages, I have switched to electronic books for the most part...the electronics saves my page!. Nice macro and texture
Depends on the book... academic ones have loads of stickies in them, personal ones have turned over pages and book marks including chocolate wrappers (empty of course!)
Don't turn the pages of books. Naughty girl! Use a bookmark. I am sure you will enjoy making colourful bookmarks with your kids. A super project on wet cold days. I used to make them with my kids when they were little and grandchildren too and they still use the bookmarks they made years ago.
I'm with Babs, if all else fails there's always a strip of newspaper handy. But I do like the shot very much, and great to hear your boy is reading. Yayyyy!
