On the Basingstoke canal very near home, these weren't the chattiest guys I've ever met! Although it was bright, it was pretty cold and I'm not sure that anyone had caught anything perhaps that's why they were a bit grumpy!
@emmadurnford , I think so too..... they weren't very open to chat, otherwise I might have tried asking if I could photograph one of their catches, or bait, hooks or something interesting!
