Farmer

This is our friend Roland. On 12th May I posted a picture of T, his son. Today's word for the day is Farmer, and it is fitting that I should post the picture that I took earlier this month.

I don't know anyone that works harder or is more dedicated to his profession than Roland. Farming is not a job, it is a way of life. It is demanding, in all weathers, every single day, Sundays, Christmas Day, lambing in the middle of the night, rounding up escaped sheep in your evening clothes just as you are leaving for dinner......relentless!

@steampowered Thank you....He was a new purchase the previous day to bring fresh blood into the herd. A baby at just 17 months!! Look forward to watching him mature! (I believe he will be very busy with the ladies this summer!!)
