I had to go to Richmond today for a meeting. I was lucky enough to be early so took a stroll down to the river hoping for some picture opportunities. Sadly the sun wasn't shining at the moment that I was there.
I love these wooden skiffs. I was once a passenger in a skiff rowing up and down the Thames at the Henley Regatta, not actually taking part, but as one of the spectator boats, as I recall our "crew" had taken on copious amounts of beer and champagne and the boat was taking on copious amounts of water. It could have ended badly but we opted for another drink!
