Button!

A wooden button for count your buttons day - who knew there was such a thing? (Well someone did because it got suggested for @Bulldog's word of the day!)

It's on a cushion that used to be jumper, that I bought..... oh gosh..... at least 30 years ago. I loved that jumper and it became old and saggy. Mum and I gave its body a new life as a cushion and I felted the sleeves into a bag. I know, I'm bonkers, other people just throw things out!!

What a lovely close-up shot! I have certainly never heard of 'Count your buttons' day, but I think it sounds like a fun thing to do... especially if you have a button box as big as mine. :D
