This is the big willow tree at the bottom of our garden. The ground is very very squelchy down there after all the rain, and the moss on her trunk (she's a she, because Little D has named her Grandmother Willow after the wise willow tree in Disney's Pocahontas film)
I think this looks like a huge eye and maybe a snout or a nose. Perhaps Boo-Vision can confirm?
well anyopne can see it is a huge eye of a moss bunny. They are very rare you know. very lucky to see one. The eye itself looks like it has been caught in the headlights and to the left is the bunny nose, sniffing the air to make sure all danger has passes. Above the eye and offset are the two bunny ears, you can just about make them out. Now it is VERY inportant to pt some three day old grass out for Moss Bunny to keep her healthy. Great find
I thought it was a bunny @huvesaker thanks for confirming the type! I'm a bit short on three day old grass, but there was lots of lichen on the twigs and he seemed pretty happy with that as an alternative to nibble at!
