It was Daddy D's birthday today, a big one too. Little D decorated a cake for him expertly made by my Mum.
I gave her the tin of cake decorations accumulated over the years from my birthday cakes and other things. She found a ballerina (apparently that was me) Great Uncle Bulgaria from the Wombles (apparently that was Daddy) and a pink sparkly heart shaped candle (that was her of course!)
There was a fift….ahem…. sorry "the" number in silver sugar balls and seven candles.
