There's no doubt I'm a bit worried about the whole of Lent in B&W, especially since it was gloriously sunny today and these were so bright and colourful!
Let's talk briefly about the Day/Night word of the day theme. Bob and I had a serious disagreement about taking a picture of the moon at half time in the rugby this afternoon (we didn't have long to mess about, had to get back to the television…. but the sky was blue and the moon was clear - I thought it worked well for the theme!!) not a single shot in focus - that might be fault of the infamous quivering tripod not Bob in fairness!
Great rugby game - England won, which means that my Welsh college has to buy the bacon butties tomorrow! Fresh white bread, crispy bacon, brown sauce. :0)
@steampowered frankly by then God knows! - I'd been shooting in the shade, under a bridge, and all sorts I keep fiddling around with settings then not resetting them….feeling very sad I didn't get to go on the course yesterday !! Feeling rather rubbish at the photography thing today!!
@nicolaeastwood Don't worry - I am always forgetting to reset the settings and then wondering why there is a ten second delay until the shutter goes off. Yes, it was a bit of a bummer about the course. Typical Park Cameras though. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing!
@steampowered No promise I wouldn't really, but it make me darn cross when I think I have cracked something and then I forget the basic stuff all over again!! Grrrrr.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one.....I get back home and wonder why everything looks so weird, only to discover that the exposure is all wrong, wrong, wrong. This one has a nice moody feel.
@houser934 My favourite trick really is leaving the lens cap on and looking like an utter twit looking through the viewfinder only to have to take it off and start again. I 'm ashamed to say I got to the point of not using the lens cap on my old camera, but feeling more protective and careful with this one!!
