So for reasons I won't go into I found myself in the Car Park of the Southampton Branch of a well known toy shop with the hideous name with the backwards letter in the middle......and look who I bumped into (errr not literally!) Ol' Mater himself.
They'd been doing some publicity and Lightning McQueen was already tucked up in his trailer to move on when a car screeched to a halt next to me and a father and son jumped out including a little boy who burst into tears seeing that he'd missed Lightning.
The guys loading up the truck spotted him, called him over and took him into the truck for a "private viewing!" one deliriously happy little boy, chuffed Daddy and I have to say that the men looked pretty happy with themselves too. Small kindnesses go such a long way! and it has a blue hue to it for Label-April!
If you haven't a clue what this is all about I suggest you settle down on the sofa with a box of popcorn and the Cars DVD (and the sequel!)
This is so cool, my 3yo would have loved to see Mater. We got to see Mack just yesterday on a convoy through town, he is part of the V8 supercars racing here this weekend. So exciting for the little ones, it is wonderful to watch their joy
