I am feeling a tad excited today and very proud of myself.
I decided in mid November that I was going to start running. I have never been a runner and wasn’t sure how I would go. I surprised myself and have been doing quite well.
Fast forward to 31 December when I decided I would participate in the Conqueror Challenge and committed to virtually running up Mount Everest. I set myself a goal of 28 days.
This morning I completed the challenge and it took me 21 days. I had 4.4 km left to run this morning and ran 5.2 km. The total distance was 64.2 km which is approximately 40 miles I think.
When I got home this morning I grabbed Buster and walked some of the route I had run so I could capture a photo. Buster and I walked 2.2 km so I have well and truly done my exercise today.
I will be receiving a medal in the mail for completing the challenge. Next is virtually running Mount Fuji which I am going to start on 1 February.
Well, congratulations indeed! That is quite the accomplishment Nicole! You have definitely something to be proud of. This photo looks like you had a lovely place to do some of your running too.
