I like the contrast of the textures and the dof and the composition. On my monitor, it does look a little grey, for a white on white. Might just be me, but does your white balance need adjusting? (btw, I know nothing about white balance - I am enquiring, not advising!)
Well, I like it, I've decided : ) Very nice w-o-w. It looks a little grey to me, as Jeni mentioned, but I think it's more a 'not overexposed' grey because it's not #fff.
Echoia - thank you so much for making up my mind for me :) it occurred to me after posting that i should have invited others to do so... glad you did!
Jeni/Echoia... as for the colour... i haven't a clue! i wouldn't know how to fix white balance... and it could be my eyes... or the fact that i probably haven't seen real white inside my house in over a decade as with three boys i know better than to buy anything white ;p i have no clue what #fff is, altho' i think it has something to do with RAW format - as yet unexplored territory for me :)
@echoia hmmm... ok - good to know! kinda reminds me of shopping for paint colours and being stunned to find out there were some 30 shades of white ;p tomorrow i will pick a colour!
