I love his Spidey sneakers! And the way you've blurred everything but him, great sense of motion. I taught a child once who would do anything I asked if I called him Spiderman. Or Laser.
@shutterbugger srsly? you must check out the square... this afternoon there was a rock concert going on... plus they were handing out free candy, free tastes of ben 'n jerry ice cream, and free monster energy drinks if you gave a donation to charity... spidey tends to hang out on the west side of yonge, south of dundas... not sure if he is there before 5pm-ish... i don't think i've ever seen him at lunch time... lemme know if you wanna do coffee!
Had to FAV this. 1) Because it's just a cool photo. Love the sense of movement behind Spidey. 2) Because I've worn a Spiderman costume myself (at the kids birthday party) and believe me, it ain't all that comfortable, plus it's hard to see out of those Spidey eyes! So, kudos to that dude for spending all morning in that getup.
@cromwell why thank you, Cromwell! and yes, i can imagine that outfit is less than comfortable (altho' i expect he's got it better than marie antoinette in her white face paint)... so... any pics of you dressed up as spidey?
@northy -- Yes, there are a few, but none taken by me. Obviously. I think it was for Nessie's second birthday. She was about to blow out the candles when I snuck up behind her and bowed my head over hers. She looked at me for a moment and then burst into tears. Spidey had to make a hasty retreat after that. LOL!
@northy -- Nah, it was like a kid meeting Santa Claus for the first time. They love the fat man until they actually see him in the flesh. Then bawl their eyes out when forced sit on his lap. The next day they get all excited when they see him on TV.
@northy srsly! My cousin is coming from Manchester and my Mum roped me into a tour. She told me I'd get some great shots from the top of the bus. She really knows how to work me now! I'd love to have coffee, but there'll be no time!
@northy they are calling for thunderstorms Mon and Tues so I don't know if it will happen. If I do, you should jump up and down in NP Square and I'll shoot you! lol
Oh yes! WOW factor off the scale! Brilliant - absolutely fabulous! So much in it, individual bits in themselves good but the sum so much greater than the parts! I feel a full glowing critique coming on yet I'm running out of superlatives! FAV! Thrice times Fav! (OK so you have got the hang of street shots!!)
Love this shot. Have looked at it several times and now I just ahd to come back and fav it. There are so many bits and pieces to it, and it all adds up to a great shot
@roth just across the street from it... outside the eaton centre... one of my favorite spots to find things to photograph... i take it you've been there?
:-)
He may also come out here, I've got a life size real Batman he can hang with. :)
