I'm not sure this works, but I can't think what to do to *make* it work... this is for my second "get pushed" challenge (I ended up with two this week - the other was a selfie and the results are in my alternate album for yesterday)...
Gabriel Siqueira said: "I see several dozens of urban pictures, most street photography. Instead of picturing a finding, i dare you to photograph something you love in a way which portraits your love better.
For instance: if you love a book about aliens, photograph it in a way to tell this story: surround it with things that resemble flying sauces.
If you love your son, picture him in a moment which better expresses what you love most about him.
Tell a love story with your photo. That's your challenge. :) "
now if there is one thing i suck at more than selfies, it's anything to do with emotion... i think i must be part vulcan... sure, i love my kids, but getting a decent shot of them is a thing of chance, not planning... i also thought about doing a picture of light (i think it's my favoritist thing about photography), but of course it rained all week (altho' i did get the one from Wednesday - the Old Mill), and in any event, I had done several of this kind of thing back in July...
so i went for my love of magic and mystery... the above is a collage of a bunch of macro shots of words from the dictionary that i took today (i think exif may show august 1 - but i have no idea as to why)...
Like i said, i'm not sure this works as an image, or really qualifies as a photo, but i am out of ideas...
Northy, you could make a good story out of these words.... The man, trying to escape the romantic image of his nature was fleeing through the dark! This storm influenced his direction and he made for the light! Fanciful notion - it was fire!
what great work you've done. I like it very much. . .I can't even imagine how you went about putting it all together, but I love the way the levels of the words float around.
Here is you week 4 get pushed challenge. Most of your photos are street, found, marvellous captures if life and your city. Many b&w. Lovely light & composition, fabulous street eye! Your challenge is to take a set up interior shot as though for an interior design magazine.
@carolinedreams ba haaaa! ok - this IS a challenge... my house is cluttered beyond belief and the lighting sucks... wonder if i can find an old dolls house somewhere to use instead ;p
Technically, very cool work. Love the image.
