This week, for "get pushed" Jerry aka @orangecrush is challenging me to do some alphabet photography and spell out a word... The only rule he set is that I can't use any letters - only objects that look like letters...
Now, at first glance, this seems like something that would be easy and fun to do... well, all I can say is that after a day of looking at everything topsy turvy, and angsting about making a plan, about whether I should have a theme, whether I should find all letters in the street, or in my house, how abstract they could / should be... whether I should do set up shots, look for letters in cracks in the wall or in the clouds, or both... this perfectionist control freak is admitting defeat and has decided to take it one day at a time... so, without further ado, I give you, the letter "S"!
Thank you all for the wonderful comments and favs on my cafe shot from yesterday... It was actually on the pp which was a lovely surprise!
I am continuing to experience major internet challenges... It works, but is sloooooooooooow... hopefully I'll be able to figure out and fix the problem tonight so I can get caught up on looking at everyone's photos...
Having started one of these myself (in my third album if you're interested in taking a peak) I know how difficult and frustrating this is. I haven't finished my alphabet because I like to use letters as and when I find them but it's really, really hard!! This is a great start and I look forward to seeing the word you create xx
lovely curvy S there - and he's really set you some challenge there - I've only done this for a Happy New Year message on 31st December and it was really difficult (it took me a long time to find just those letters)
I hope you are spelling a long word.
