in a desperate attempt to escape the office i took my camera for walkies at lunch... a shot of the garbage and grime accumulating along a wall of a overhead walkway...
this was edited in topaz using a preset called "black eagles" (the names of these presets alone have me sold ;p)...
thank you so much for the lovely lovely comments and favs on my boats shot from yesterday... it made the pp and that was probably the nicest thing that happened to me today...
I think I'd want to levitate over that walkway... Or toss my shoes after touching that... There's absolutely no way I could have got down to take that shot.
Congratulations on getting your gorgeous boats to PP. I get so excited if I have a photo there. "Black Eagles" - had me so fascinated that I've downloaded Topaz Restyle - well, it is my birthday on Friday.
@masosy@playswithlight - i cheated... i was actually standing on the stairs leading up to the walkway... so only my feet ever had to touch the ground ;p
Cool effect! I read your comment about the Exif info but I can't seem to find it now that I'm at my computer! Hmmm. Well, I couldn't have told you much anyways... :o) I'm not familiar with LR, I use PS but I think they are very similar? I open my pics in PS first, Topaz is a plug-in and I open my pic in it by going under the filter drop down menu and clicking the Topaz program I want to use. After I'm done in Topaz I click OK and it reopens in PS. I've never had the problem with the Exif info being lost. I'm sure this has been no help at all but I always love a good chat with you! :o)
@orangecrush in theory LR and PS are very similar... and it's a lovely theory... but here it seems, not so much! ;p in LR i have to go to restyle via fusion... this does not seem to be necessary in PS... wonder if that's where the issue lies... yep - always good to chat :D
