kind of a lame shot, but i've been busy pretending i know how to do Christmas today, and nothing else appealed... the white on the right is actually mostly light trails from cars m-o-v-i-n-g-v-e-r-y-s-l-o-w-l-y in the few inches of snow we received...
thanks all so very very much for the great response to my "inception" shot from yesterday :)
@mzzhope tx Hope... yeah... one day i need to get someone to spot me and then i'll take a night shot from the middle of the street... lots of trees reaching across the road :)
that all? how come we got so much here? not fair! i was going to hit the beaches for some virgin snow drifts, but it was hard to walk with my new snow boots, they're heavier than the whole world's problems, for heaven's sake! and partner is away. but tomorrow morning, i'll hit them snow trails!
@summerfield how much did you get? i don't think we got more than 4 or 5 inches, but it's hard to tell... i'm hoping to get some early morning shooting in tomorrow, but have a hellish day of hockey and stuff and not sure i'll be able to manage it...
Simply stunning night snowy scene! Wonderful light flare (or whatever the correct terminology is!). Fav!
The best advice I ever received (re Chrismas) was just to forget it was December. (I think she said "imagine it's any other month"). That was about 15 years ago, and I've followed it "religiously" ever since ;)
Great light-trails and light-bursts. Nice POV looking down the pathway like that. I'd be terrible if I lived with snow. I'd have to migrate to the warmth every Winter!
