The weather while we were in Croatia was relentlessly hot and sunny. There was one night though, while we were in Dubrovnik, where there was a torrential electrical storm. Had a lovely view into the old city from our hotel and since the thunder had woken me up, I figured I might as well take the opportunity to see if i could catch some lightening... my first ever opportunity :)
the challenge start date is August 24th... i know the EXIF says this was taken on the 23rd, but you have to add 6 hours for the time difference as i never updated my camera, so this was actually taken on the 24th...
