I love photographing landscapes and am just a little good at it sometimes but as me to take a people picture and I just want to take it and move on. But I might wish my people shots to be as good as this.
I do like it and the idea --- I do wish there was a little more contrast to it. If you didn't write down yolking I would have more trouble knowing what i was looking at. Nice job for the challenge.
This looks perfect on my phone but appears to have too little contrast on my laptop. I guess it's just one of those images. It's definitely eggcellent work though.
I think the contrast level works just fine - dreamy high key. Initially I thought I would not have composed quite so tightly or used 4:5 ratio, but that's just my eye I think. Fineart purists probably agree with you ....I always fine image 'balance' a tough one. A great image - & tx for pushing me to reflect at a higher level.
@ltodd I think I would normally have left a bit more space around the subject, and possibly gone with a 9x16 aspect ratio... but my sweep and white screen are quite small and so wouldn't have allowed for that :)
But I really didn't give it that much thought... These kind of shots are a huge struggle for me because I don't quite know what they are about...
"conjures with the idea of transcendence and the experience of impermanence as our eyes adjust to perceiving the barely perceptible changes in tone".....

The worst art I have ever seen is "white on white" in the National Gallery of Australia!! http://www.theaustralian.com.au/arts/review/public-works-robert-hunters-minimalistic-white-on-white/news-story/6c664386f2c6a8366a175980178ba39c .........seriously?!!
