i've been at the cottage for the past two days and have yet to see the sun... lots of fog and mist, though... this was taken mid morning yesterday at Algonquin park along the Peck Lake trail... rather bleak and forlorn, but that's winter for ya! at least it wasn't that cold... heading back to Toronto shortly - just packing things up :(
@humphreyhippo weeeellllll... last year when I was at the cottage in January it was something like -30 C... this time it was more like +2C... my parka was almost too warm for hiking in... and after the first 5 minutes I didn't even bother with gloves :)
@mcsiegle tx :) i'll have to remember that for next December... i realized too late last December that while i had put together a card for family and family friends, i also needed a card for less personal acquaintances who couldn't care less about my kids ;p
