i blew it... i went down to the lake last night to shoot birds in flight for the technique challenge and ended up being more interested in other things... like the texture of the water... and smoke stacks in the setting sun (see other album)... and also there were some splashing waves... but i'll wait until tomorrow to post that one...

@kali66 :) i had one almost decent one with the bird lifting off, but the out of focus light on the water ws an eye-sore, and in the end i decided it wasn't really worth the effort to fix... oh well...
