soooooo... i spent a stupid amount of money on dotted purple wrapping paper for the sole purpose of doing some target practice with the lensbaby... this is the sweet35 set at f/2.5 angled up to the left... i do believe there are 5 dots in the corner that are more or less in focus... i also think i now have a slightly better handle on where the focus will be, and indeed, one has to be a bit careful on the crop sensor as if you angle too much the sweet spot does seem to disappear...
i also did this exercise with the edge80 and i think the edge80 is a bit sharper than the sweet35...
anyway, this is all I've got for the lensbaby tonight... hopefully the lessons learned will serve me well when i try to do something more interesting tomorrow...
if you wanted something like this you should've just gotten out the grater from the kitchen drawer. :-D you didn't get this at that papyrus store where they sell for $15 what you buy at dollarama for $2.50, did you?
Clear focus area and out of focus 'lines' leading to it... not only part of an investigation but also a compelling image. Clear Fav! A virtual fav too for bucking the modern trend and using an evidence based approach!
I admire your dedication to the cause. I am sure those dots will come in handy again, so hold on to them. Look forward to seeing the products of your study.
