cats have servants... by northy

cats have servants...

"dogs have masters; cats have servants"

a composite selective colour shot for vday... this is still missing something... i know not what... or maybe it just doesn't work... regardless... it's late and i need to move on...

incidentally, there's a new composite challenge that's been posted if you're interested...

Great concept, and definite vibe of ancient Egypt - nice little flash of red

Egyptian thoughts here too. I rather like it and thanks for the reminder of the composite challenge. I will try to come up with something for that.

I like how the servant has to be hooded in the presence of the august cat

Love it and I would have to agree.. my cat thinks she is the Queen of the house

I am quite uncomfortable when stared - no glared - at by cats, as happens a lot. This image gives me the same sort of feeling. You have achieved something with it for sure.

Yes, something like the pyramid with the eye on it like we have on the American dollar in the back ground, or a oriental rug type pattern- but it's still a creatively crafted composite!

Your calendar (as always) looks fantastic. Sometimes I think I am not the one to host a month of black and white as I have not mastered it to my style as you have so I can't tell you enough how I appreciate you taking part in it!

@olivetreeann tx Ann... i have to say that i am soooooo glad that you are hosting this... i think you've done a fabulous job in providing guidance and keeping everyone engaged in the process... i am a terrible teacher and this month in particular has been challenging for me (from a non-photog perspective) - i've really barely been here other than to post and run... so i would have done a particularly awful job if i'd tried to host...
