Last year I found that composing in square format in camera helps to see the halves you want and filling the frame.
@joansmor hmmmm.... tricky - so much is electronic and digital nowadays! what about a closeup of a can opener? Also, maybe check google images for inspiration?
Great lighting, nice shadows. I love the gray tones. As usual, your work invokes (in me, at least) the past. The first thing I felt when seeing this picture is "1960s." Don't ask me why.
Did an OCD electrician make sure the screw slots all were horizonal or was it the photographer? Whoever...the bottom-left guy is out of formation.
And it fades to white on the right instead of "fade to black," like in the movies.
