between 5.30 and 9 this morning I was again helping and will be returning again this evening.
the collage shows a fire crew enjoying a cuppa (they have already had their bacon butties); the part of the building shown in yesterdays shot and beneath views of the other side of the building with lots of smoke still issuing from it.
The firefighters are likely to be there at least until tomorrow lunch time

There were about 60 students living in the first part of the conversion, they all left the building and have been rehoused by the university but the fire spread so quickly that they have lost everything. A lot of them were overseas students so have even lost passports and visas.
The people were evacuated from the homes across the road from the factory. So no one was hurt. A few firemen/women have been monitored for smoke inhalation.
