Britain's first black magistrate and a campaigner for equal rights. He was born in Jamaica and after service in the RAF in WWII he settled in Nottingham
The mural is beside the Carrington Road bridge over the canal not far from the Magistrates Court and is the second of the Nottingham Rebels murals
